Thoughts of my day

I realized something really important yesterday. We read romantic books and watch romantic movies which lead us to conclude that we have a 'soulmate'-that one indispensable human being to whom we pour out our emotional burdens and with whom we can have philosophical discussions. I don't think that is a reality in life. In a majority of the cases, we cannot find that kind of perfection in a single relationship. If our needs form parts of a whole then we have separate relationships to fulfil each of these. We need a system of support, not just one person because that one person can always be lacking in something or the other. In order to have a happy, healthy existence all individuals need this 'system'. They also need something perceived as intrinsic happiness. This has to come from within--it's that thing which makes you appreciate nature and beauty, feel happy with the world in general and think positive things--in short all the things that happen when you fall in love but you shouldn't have to fall in love to feel them!
Family, friends and intrinsic happines--in short the keys to a complete life.
